Rocky, a rescue dog, is part Husky, Collie, and Australian Shepherd. He is protective of his family and LOVES going to the dog park where he chases dogs that are chasing balls. He has excellent hearing, unlike his mom, who was deaf. "If we open the Ziploc bag that holds cheese, he comes to the kitchen and promptly sits down to await his treat." Mrs. Kilga

The TJ staff thought it would be fun to staff members pets and also encourage AHS to participate in our new online venture. Look for the photo of each pet, the type and breed of the pet, and something unusual about each pet.  Comments are welcome!

Hap is a Mixed Breed/Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. "Hap was a stray in Eastern Washington, he is missing part of his ear and has five bee-bee bullets still in him. Now that he is rescued he has the spoiled life an old dog deserves." Samantha Laskey, Physical Therapist

"He is disgusted when I have to work in the evenings, as witnessed by his look of displeasure in this picture. When he sees a stack of papers or my laptop, he hides under the bed or sits by the front door with his back to me until I finish." Anna Marshall, Language Arts teacher
