Under The Covid Dome

For most of us, being under the effects of the “COVID Dome” is like living in Stephen King’s “Under the Dome.” We as people are susceptible to catching the coronavirus.

COVID-19 affects different people in different ways, regardless of whether the people have contracted the virus. Its impacts can be both mental and physical. Infected people experience a wide range of symptoms – from mild to severe to deadly. Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes are at higher risk for developing more serious complications.

Covid-19 has affected us mentally by causing anxiety and stress for our well being, it is affecting us physically by potentially altering are organs to how it wants us to react.

However, COVID-19 has also affected all types of people, even those who were perfectly healthy. People who have the virus are asymptomatic and may not have any symptoms, but they can be considered to be a carrier of the virus.

People who have symptoms or feel sick should take precautions by staying away from others and wearing a face mask when getting within six feet of others. Contact a doctor if you have COVID-19 symptoms, so you can get tested for the virus.

Although there is no vaccine yet, developers, researchers, and manufacturers are working to expedite the development and availability of medical products such as vaccines, antibodies, and drugs to prevent COVID-19.

People with health risks stay safe during our stay at the COVID Dome, mask up to keep others safe, so no matter what happens we are all still under this dome.
