It is important that we come together and help each other through this

With no clear end in sight for the CoronaVirus, we have already sacrificed so much for the safety of everyone; school got canceled, events got canceled, people had no choice but to work from home, and we couldn’t have gatherings of more than 50 people.

Today, at 5:30pm, Governor Jay Inslee sent out a stay home order. What this means is that we will not be able to go out and do nonessential events. Businesses that are not essential for the survival of our community will be shut down, and any that stay open must implement regulations to protect their workers.

This is being done to prevent the spread of the virus, and prevent deaths. The Governor acknowledged that this will affect the economy, but also realizes that it needs to be done in order to protect everyone.

We all need to come together, and listen to his order in order to keep our community safe and healthy. We can still go outside, we can still go on walks; the stay at home order does not mean that our lives have stopped. We can still go on, and we will make it through this, if we work together, and support everyone, and help each other through this.

Have patience, and wait this out. We will make this through, like we’ve made it through so many things in the past. While struggling through this, it is important that we come together and help each other through this.
