Auburn High School Sports Medicine qualifies for Nationals

Sports Medicine at Auburn High School had an amazing weekend during the state competition at The Greater Tacoma Convention Center. Coach Krista Parsons and her team finished in 7th place. Making this the 4th year in a row they qualify for nationals.

Junior, Emma Wason highly represented Auburn High School by taking first place in CPR. Wason is the new 2019 state champion in the CPR category.

This was Wason’s first year joining Sports Medicine when asked how this made her feel she replied, “Really good, for once the hard work that I did didn’t go to waste, and I know that this information that I learned will come to use someday to help somebody”.

Wason also continued and said, “I have really good teachers that have helped me learn, they never told me I wasn’t going to be able to do something, they always pushed me to do my best”.

Wason also finds “a constant group of support in Sports Medicine.”
