Auburn High School has a free after-school program every week that goes from Monday
through Thursday and ends at 4:20 p.m. This program is staffed by teachers who are willing to
volunteer to help students with their subjects. Snacks are offered to students who attend. At
4:30 p.m. students can access school district transportation. Buses take students to a variety of
Auburn middle schools and elementary schools. This program was mostly created for students

to improve grades as well as their knowledge and understanding.

Senior Mercedes Yango patiently waits in line for her turn to sign the sheet at the table next to
the door, that lets administrators know who attend the after school program.
